This is how the LOGISTACK quote calculator works when deployed on your own site, and what you (the purchaser) control.
What it is?
A lightweight, front-end quote tool that:

Includes 2.7 million postcodes from England Scotland and Wales.

Calculates real road distance & time via Google Routes API (Depot → Destination → Depot).

Prices jobs using your labour rate, fuel costs, vehicle MPG, London surcharge, plus VAT.

Captures customer name, email, phone and stores the quote in your database.

Shows a clean, on-screen price breakdown in a modal.

Includes a quote history page for quick lookups, and easy customer follow up.
What you control
Easily configured to your business costs - modified during software setup.

Depot postcode (fixed origin).

Labour rate (£/hour).

Diesel price (£/litre).

Vehicle fuel economy (MPG).

London surcharge (flat £).

VAT rate (e.g., 17.5% or set to 0 if you’re not VAT-registered).

Optional toll heuristics (e.g., ULEZ, Dart/Dartford) applied automatically by postcode area.
How the price is calculated (in plain English)
- We plan the actual road route from our depot to the delivery postcode and back using Google Routes (round trip).
- We take Google’s one-way distance & time, then double them for a round-trip total.

Labour = (round-trip minutes ÷ 60) × your hourly rate
(
£17.50/hrby default). -
Fuel = (round-trip miles ÷ vehicle MPG) ×
4.54609L/gal × diesel price (£1.42/Lby default). -
Surcharges & tolls:
London surcharge (
£50) if the destination is in Greater London; optional ULEZ / Dartford charges applied when relevant. - Subtotal = Labour + Fuel + Surcharges/Tolls.

VAT = Subtotal ×
17.5%(can be set to0%if not VAT-registered). - Total = Subtotal + VAT (this is the price you see).
